Aunque una cuestión que sorprende y mucho es el uso de la palabra KODAK.
Todos pensamos en Kodak con los carretes analógicos de fotografía de cámaras de fotografías relativamente modernas, aunque no como las primeras cámaras de la época de Bram Stoker,
Aunque la vida no ha cambiado mucho desde la época de Stoker. La verdad sobre la supuesta inmortalidad, es que el cuerpo envejecería, mientras los dolores y las incapacidades físicas te limitan. Ya lo decía Jonathan Swift. Supuestamente hay espíritus malignos sexuales, aunque más que seducir, agreden sexualmente.
Tampoco en esto hay placer.
Si te privan de los placeres del paladar de la comida y de la bebida y del sexo consentido siempre( por rechazo del envejecimiento físico), LA VIDA INMORTAL NO TIENE ALICIENTE ALGUNO.
Y el “espejito espejito”; el espejo antiguo es al que se refiere la novela. UN SUPUESTO VAMPIRO SE VE EN UN ESPEJO REALIZADO POR MATERIAL MODERNO.
Hay todavía toda una cultura sobre el vampirismo, dentro y fuera de redes sociales con teorías de todas las clases, sin embargo yo quisiera terminar, antes de ser preso voluntario de esta novela con una reflexión muy clara, como la luz del sol:
¿ ES LA INMORTALIDAD Y EL DOLOR POR LA MUERTE DE UN SER QUERIDO la mayor prisión del ser humano?, ¿ la muerte, NO VOLUNTARIA, al final y al cabo es una liberación y NO DEBERÍAMOS TENER TANTO MIEDO?.
El problema es que el ser humano procura tener miedo a morir y muere todos los días en vida por sus miedos y odios, sobre todo a ellas mismas y a ellos mismos.
